I’m part of a group show with fellow Towson University MFA folks. The call for entry stated:
We are looking for work that meditates on the present moment, and reflects on the theme Here & Now. This prompt is open for interpretation. Artwork submitted could pertain to the theme conceptually or be based on process.
I submitted some of my insomnia haiku, reasoning that those little poems were made in an effort to ground myself in the present moment (in the middle of the night).
I just received the marketing materials for this how, and see the title is now What’s left Behind. If I were to apply again, I might suggest that the things left behind (hopefully) would be that evening’s sleepless concerns.

410 N. Eutaw Street
Baltimore, MD 21201
The show runs from April 18 – June 2.
