Lily and I had out annual holiday date, which was enhanced by a freezing lost pup that I picked up on my way to get Lily.
We went to the pottery/art sale at Towson University, and it was wonderful.

It was about a year ago that I rescued another sweet lost pup.
This time, I saw this fellow running along Hamilton Ave, back and forth, up to different doors. He did not have a collar, and I could see him shaking in the below freezing cold.
I pulled over, and convinced him to come to me. He was friendly, and I was allowed to pick him up. I put him in the car, and went back home. The local animal shelter wouldn’t open for another few hours, and I had plans with Lily. So, we let him into the house.
This fellow was a very good guest, and we all quickly became attached to him.

I was able to connect with his mom on Nextdoor. He was returned home – safe and warm. It’s nice to know how the story ends, and to know his name is “Buddy.” We were calling him John Waters.
Our dogs were kind to let him shelter here, too.

I love helping dogs like this.
I also got an early morning hike in with my buddy.

It was a lovely weekend.
