We said goodbye to the Hamilton Gallery today, which closes for good this month. Beverly and I held our wedding there, and Bridget Sullivan is a dear friend. In fact, I’m friends with most of the members. I had two solo shows here – one of which allowed me to use a Maryland State Arts Council Creativity Grant and exhibit rather unusual-for-me material that I probably wouldn’t have been able to show elsewhere. I participated in at least 8 shows over the years.
Several other businesses have closed or moved, and it feels strange.
So much change.
