Two Stangers

I had another great hike this morning. It was 23 degrees out, and the woods were empty. I then drove through the bleak day to the XOXO gallery to pick up my work from Frosh Week.

We watched Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train this weekend. It was great. From 1951, I loved the shots around eyeglasses. Robert Walker’s portrayal of psychopath Bruno Antony was fantastically unhinged.

I also learned about Charlotte Salomon this weekend. Both she and Walker died very young.

I got to look through a book of her works, which have an illustrative quality.
