I had a very special screening at Rhizome in DC Thursday January 8, 2026 @ 7pm! I showed 25 shorts.
Rhizome DC is a nonprofit community arts space located at 6950 Maple St NW, in the Takoma neighborhood of Washington DC. They are dedicated to promoting creativity as a force for personal empowerment and community engagement. They also strive to provide a home for non-mainstream programming in the DC area.
This was a fantastic event – the audience was generous with their time and questions.
I made this using an upright bass by Ibanez. The pedals used were the Boss Hamonist, Old Blood Noise Endeavors’ Visitor, Red Panda’s Tensor, and Lossy, by Chase Bliss Audio. The video is from my phone, film in the theater lobby at Towson University.
I made a few short animated loops as warm-ups while we were traveling.
The first one was drawn on a train from Lisbon to Porto. It was very bumpy, so I had to just be loose and go with it.
I’m just keeping things moving.
Another AI experiment (two in one weekend!). I played the drums and guitar, and put this together today.
